Staying at The Townhouse. Then you have got to try this...

You’ll learn the basics of rhythm by using the most primitive instrument of all: the palms of your hands. Then you’ll stroll through the silent streets of the Albayzín as your guide (a flamenco dancer who uses the traditional oral method to share the culture of Flamenco, an art that was passed down to him by the gypsy culture, family, street musicians and the elders of the neighborhood. He graduated from the professional Reina Sofía Conservatory of Dance in Granada and has performed in Spain, Dubai, Paris, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Singapore, Rome, Hong Kong, Marrakech, Mexico) shares stories about the roots of this legendary art. At the end we’ll discuss our thoughts about the connection between the artists and this legendary art form.
