Wow! What a view!
What a place!
We spent four nights at The Townhouse following a visit to Seville, where I had run the marathon. Iznájar was exactly what we needed - full rest and relaxation! The house is beautiful and fantastically equipped with all you could need. Even in February the terrace is such a sun trap and the owners are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. I can recommend The Townhouse for a holiday spent relaxing and reviving yourself with friends or family in a typical and beautiful Spanish town.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for 7 nights in April 2017. All five of us had an excellent time, and experienced no problems. The apartment itself is spacious (two floors, three bedrooms), with an amazing view in the lake (whose powers of relaxation and tranquility cannot be adequately described ). We got a very warm welcome from the owner, Graham, and his wife, and they were both very kind and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything one might need for his stay. Graham and his wife have also kindly provided us with some food and wine for our first days, which was useful (and tasteful!) for all of us. All in all, really, only positive things to say about this apartment. If I ever go back to Andalucia, I will definitely choose to stay in this apartment again, without any second thoughts.

An incomparable view. A very nicely renovated house where you can sleep under the stars on the terrace. We appreciated the picturesque side of Iznajar. Ideal place for those who want to flee the crowds of tourists. In the middle of the olive groves, but close to the beautiful villages of the Sierra Subbetical. We recommend this address.

We enjoyed an extremely relaxing 5 days in this lovely property and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to switch off and relax. The highlight is the beautiful terrace which is amply sized and with stunning views . We enjoyed dinner, drinks, sunbathing and a BBQ on it. Iznajar itself is very authentic and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. We also visited the nearby beach on the lake a few times which was very quiet and relaxing- particularly outside of weekends. Graham was great at communicating with us prior to our arrival and greeted us at the Townhouse on our arrival, making us feel very at home. It is very clean, spacious and modern. Gorgeous, comfortable and clean! A must-stay in this area.
What an stunningly gorgeous place to stay! The view just can't be described - you can look out over the reservoir on one side and then from the bedrooms upstairs you can see the church and castle; you really couldn't ask for more ambiance. The townhouse was impeccably clean with absolutely gorgeous bathrooms (two of them!) with lovely tiled showers. The view out of the upstairs shower is a magical way to start your morning. The balcony overlooking the water is amazing with high-quality lawn chairs and a table and chair set, making it a welcome extension of the living space. We spent a lot of time out here relaxing and watching the birds and bats. Very comfortable beds in all rooms with high-quality linens. Plush, large, white towels provided. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. The living room was comfortable and welcoming, and the view out the windows was gorgeous. We found easy parking a short walk away. The hosts were very kind and met us to let us in and show us how to use the laundry machine etc. Many little supermarkets are a short walk away. Heat and air conditioning in every room. Really - superb and highly recommended!

The Townhouse is a beautiful, well-equipped and large accommodation in a small town. You should like olive trees when you come to Iznajar, because they are everywhere in the surrounding area. ;-) Graham and Lynn made a great job renovating the house and they make you feel very welcome! Iznajar itself is very calm (at least when we were there), but of course you can do some day trips and experience the less touristic parts of Andalucia. The Townhouse looks just as on the pictures. All in all we can definitely recommend to stay with Graham and Lynn if you are in the area or want to calm down!

Wow! What an amazing place! We had a great time at the townhouse, and wished we had booked more than the four nights we had. What can I say, Graham and Lynn’s place is absolutely stunning and renovated to the highest standard. The photos show exactly how it is! Extremely clean, amazing surroundings, super friendly hosts and excellent location to tour around Andalucía. Graham and Lynn even went the extra mile to contact local bakeries in search of a birthday cake for my daughter. Also, they left us wine, water and a bottle of local olive oil. The beds were super comfortable with extra large, plush bathroom linens. Kitchen had everything needed including a selection of spices, coffee and teas. Parking is not for the faint of heart though. As this is a very old village and built on a mountainside, the roads are very steep and narrow with many one-way streets. Once you get to know the layout, it’s not a problem. If you’re not used to this type of driving, make sure to arrive in the daylight. We found it easier to park in the public parking lot. I hope to return to that area, and when I do, I’ll definitely stay at The Townhouse. One of our best AirBnb stays!

We booked a short stay in the Town House. The location is quiet and great for a relaxed break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view from the lounge and private terrace is wonderful. The turquoise coloured lake lies below you and the hills in the distance are covered in olive trees.
The house is very well appointed and well laid out. The first floor bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and everything has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It’s worth checking out the website for more photos.
Great location for bird watchers ( I mention that I am not one ) as you can see numerous species including soaring Eagles flying past your window as the house is very elevated.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others wanting a stop off in this region.

Graham's place exceeded expectations. This old property has been imaginatively remodelled to allow in light, create space and provide the most breathtaking uninterrupted views of the reservoir of Iznajar. Oh, and there's a beautiful, private outside space for relaxing and taking in the views. Located in the heart of the old town, so close to bars, restaurants and the more cultural sights, yet still very quiet and peaceful the house was perfect. Graham and his wife were extremely considerate, allowing flexibility on departure time and providing some food essentials and a bottle of wine on arrival. We would definitely stay again.

This place is incredible. After spending the past few weeks in larger cities in Spain, the Townhouse in Iznajar offered a quiet respite for our family. We enjoyed ice creams in the bar by the beach and used the football pitches over that side of the bridge for a mess about with the kids. A word of advise - if you are not used to driving on unbelievably steep and narrow roads, leave the car in the car park at the bottom of the hill rather than driving to park by the house - my stress levels went through the roof trying to manoeuvre back down!! I can recommend The Townhouse for a holiday spent relaxing and reviving yourself with friends or family in a typical and beautiful Spanish town.

A haven of tranquility and beauty in an idyllic setting. The house is as shown in the images and you don't miss almost anything. The hill you have to climb to get to the house is nothing when you open the door and see the wonder of the place where you are going to stay. Highly highly recommended for couples or groups of several people, 2 bathrooms and large spaces. And of course ... what views! It is recommended to get up early to watch the sunrise from the terrace.
We stayed just one night to disconnect in nature and in a wonderful town like Iznájar. The house has a spectacular location with incredible views. Everything is very well organized so that you can access the house without difficulty, the hosts explain everything very well. It is totally worth it. Wow wow wow!!! That was my husband and I looking round this pristine and stylish home of Graham and Lynn. Never in my life have I had such magnificent private views and close contact with a nightly aerial display from swallows and bats! Graham and Lynn were there to welcome us with a glass of cava a generous welcome pack and plenty of local information . If you are serious about the real Spain then Graham's house is the place for you. Iznajar is built into the mountain so be prepared to build up your calf muscles . The rewards are worth it.

We had a fantastic time staying at Graham and Lynn's Townhouse. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and a chance to experience life in a traditional Spanish town and we couldn't have chosen better. The house itself is stunning, with the obvious highlight being the private terrace looking out onto the lake and surrounding hills. Since it's facing away from the town it's incredibly peaceful and we happily spent most of the day here. Communication from Graham and Lynn was excellent beforehand, including making us aware of several events in the town happening in the week of our trip that we might be interested in. When we arrived they greeted us in person and gave us a tour of the house and explained how everything worked. In addition they supplied a basket of essentials like bread, milk, eggs, and wine to help us settle in, which we greatly appreciated. Overall we had a fantastic time and would happily recommend this property to anyone.

The pre-trip communication was super easy and quick with Graham. He paid attention to every little detail to make sure we will find the place. The place looks like as on the photos: all furniture, equipment and bed linen are new, high quality and selected with care. You need to prepared to climb up the apartment if you are not an expert in driving on very narrow and steep streets but this little exercise definitely worth of investment- the view from the apartment is marvellous! As we have traveled with 3 kids- the DVDs, games, books and the unlimited internet (yes, we have teenagers!:) made our evenings real 'home-like'. We really appreciated the 'extra touches' from Lynn and Graham; the welcome note, the local tips, a bottle of Spanish wine and the local olive oil- all made us feel like a real welcomed guests.

We spent the weekend with the family at The Townhouse. The house is renovated with an exquisite taste and all the comforts. Upon entering, the view of the lake from the living room is spectacular and everything in the house is perfect to have a pleasant stay. The street is narrow and very steep, but although our car is large, we were able to enter and park at the door. A highly recommended experience, we will repeat.

"Little Castle" or "My home is my fortress" on the lake. This is a very rare house option. Not only did the owners think over everything to the last detail while creating them, they also managed to create a feeling of warm hospitality in your heart. Why - the castle? Well, in the beginning you have to overcome an uphill climb. If you start familiarising yourself with the house by inspecting the deadbolts on the front door, and then go up to the second level, go out onto the veranda and examine the surroundings from it - perhaps you will have the feeling that you are in your own castle and in absolute security. I will not describe all the advantages of this housing (two levels, three bedrooms at the top, large panoramic windows with spectacular views of beauty, etc.), I will only note what struck my wife and me most of all. See how the living room on the first level is equipped and decorated - a complete feeling that you are visiting friends, and they just went out into the street for five minutes to get a gift for you. And the kitchen, with a set of spices and everything for tea and coffee. You are waiting and you are welcome. And now you are so comfortable that you don't want to go anywhere. But you are in Andalusia, and after visiting another cultural, historical, culinary attraction, you will gladly return to this house, which have become for you a cozy home like a castle at this time. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay in the charming hill town of Iznajar. The view was totally worth the climb (and we would definitely do it again)! We spent many hours mesmerized by the fabulous lake view from the upstairs terrace. The view was every-changing as the passing clouds cast shadows on the hills below and the shifting breeze created a variety of shimmering wave patterns across the lake. The apartment appears renovated in recent years and is nicely furnished. The living area is particularly comfortable (with a wall of windows overlooking the lake) and a bathroom nearby. The kitchen is well-organized with various types of dishware and a complete set of kitchen tools. All bedrooms are attractive and large enough to feel comfortable with a large bathroom and the roof terrace nearby. We appreciated the welcome card, as well as instructions and recommendations provided by the host. Enjoy!
